Questions
What counts as a validation?
Every answered check: a live registry answer, a cached fallback answer during an outage, and a format failure (a definitive "invalid" is still an answer you can act on). If the registry is down and we have no cached answer, the request fails with a 503 and does not count.
What happens when I reach the included quota?
During the trial, further validations return HTTP 429 until the next period — we never charge a trial. On a paid plan, requests keep working and extras are metered at your plan's overage rate.
Do monitoring re-checks count against my quota?
No. Nightly re-checks of your monitored VAT IDs never consume validation quota.
Can I export my evidence?
Yes — CSV export of your full validation history is always available, including after you cancel. Your dashboard stays accessible read-only; you never lose your audit trail.
What about EU VAT on the subscription itself?
Handled at checkout: enter your business address and VAT number and the correct treatment (reverse charge where applicable) is applied to your invoice automatically.
